Letter From Lady Magnessen
Received Tirdas the 10th of Sun's Dawn

I heard about your accident at sea, and feared the worst. Now that I’ve heard you’re alive and well, I would like the opportunity to meet with you and discuss our beloved Emperor’s mission in the Iliac Bay.

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Lady Magnessen, the Emperor’s agent in the court of Daggerfall. My position is not so official as an ambassador. None but other agents of the Emperor know of my true affiliation. The Iliac Bay is rife with rebels against the Imperial throne, so your discretion is required.

For the purpose of our meeting, I will take a room at an inn, The Prancing Pig in Lyonel of Daggerfall, for a month. After that, I will no longer be available. I will expect you as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely,
Brisienna, Lady Magnessen

Session 3: Sundas the 8th through Loredas the 14th of Morningstar, 3E, 405th Year.
By Avery Atyalah

1st Letter: 5 Morningstar, third Era, 405th Year.

Dear Farwil,
It’s almost dawn.
Broan’s been shouting
All night long
Talos for hours
Freak storm caught us
Out of the blue
Doing our best
Just make it through
Even with our powers
Ol’ Avery isn’t
Scared too much.
Even though things
Are getting rough.
I march on.
With thoughts of home.

I grab my shield
And guard my buddies
So it’s our foes,
and our blades that’re bloody
And we all laugh
Cause there’s something funny
About last second saves
That fight off the grave.

2nd Letter: 7 Morningstar, third Era, 405th Year.

Dear Farwil

No poem today. We visited the Fighter’s Guild first thing in the morning today. They figured it would be a great way to get some easy coin. Our little adventure would have been a great lesson for you. We found two boars that had broken into someone’s house, and were wrecking the place. Instead of killing the boars in cold blood, we tamed them, leading them out of the town. You will be a ruler one day Farwil. As glorious as the battle to the death can be, the merciful are well remembered by history.

The steel should not be forgotten, but many warriors do not go to battle dreaming of their next; they dream of peace, and the day they can set their blades down. I was worried at first, but it seems even Broan understands where true glory lies. We are headed to a manor to clear out some infestations. Should be more easy work. I will send you another letter upon my return. Don’t worry. I will be back in Cheydinhal soon enough.

Session 2: The 2nd through the 8th of Morningstar, 3E, 405th Year.

A brown leather book with a small lock on the front, the name Marella’s Journal is written on the front in common. The language used in the book is Dunmeris, the hand writing in the book is neat.

We have been down here for a full day now and lucky none of us have died. We have had a few close calls with the quiet orc and the other dunmer. Thankfully the other orc Broan and the Imperial woman are on good terms with their respective divine. The divine blessings of those two have kept us all alive, so far. If there is a way out and we don’t run out of food, we may just survive the mix of monsters and men that seem determined to kill us.

We are sleeping down here again, just barely survived that fight with those skeletons. There is still a door in this room and one back in the hall we just came from. There is also a handle on the throne in here, probably leads to a secret exit or a pit trap. We will find out come tomorrow.

Another day in the dark tunnels, never been so glad I have night eyes in my life. Azagoth is unconscious again, as was Avery this time. Khyu’Grym has been infected with a disease from one of the giant rats running around down here. He has been in a trance since he was bitten, I hope he pulls through. The nord and breton that were in the room we are resting in, put up quit the fight. Broan is thankful to Talos for providing him with so many worthy challenges. Personally as long as Talos eventually sees fit to get us out of these tunnels alive, I don’t mind a few of challenges.

We made it, thank Azura, Talos, and whatever divine or daedric prince any of the others may follow. We found our way out we just barely made it past the last line of monsters guarding the exit. There was some more areas unexplored, but the rest of the group felt that we were in too rough a shape to continue.

Once outside we found our way to a nearby city by the name of Gothway Garden. We have only just gotten here and are resting and recovering from the tunnels. Hopefully once we are all recovered we can continue our mission, but I have a feeling we may need to make some other arrangements, since we are without supplies or financial support. I will have to see what the others think.

Session 1: The 1st through the 2nd of Morningstar, 3E, 405th Year.
By Broan Gro Atumhash

[A pristine book of bleached leather is filled with elegant parchment, fit for a proper regaling of the glories of Talos and the battles there in.]

[Entry 1]

1st of Morningstar, 3E, 405th Year.

Glory be to Talos, he that strengthens my foes and weaves my glory. Thankful is thy servant for these hallowed and blessed pages to record thy holy doctrine of battle.

Let it be hence forth known that the servant Broan gro-Atumhash does hereby solemnly swear to only record words worthy of your glory and honor upon these pages. Let no lesser battle, nor incompetent warrior’s story sully these pages. This servant hopes that he will serve you properly and true in all his acts.

While I tend to write my stories better with blade and battle, it is part of my holy duties to properly chronicle the history of this conquest. Beset by your worthy descendant the Emperor, we did become shipwrecked.
Long did our humble ship battle the mighty storm. Our weapons rope, wood and men. Our defeat final and sacred. We arrived upon a strangled cove of rock and filth.

The others that accompany my holy duties as a Blade to your line, have yet to truly prove themselves, to be worthy of mention within these texts. Save for one.

Azagoth Valen’s talent with a blade are worthy of your eye Talos, as well as your blessing, although our time has been brief and our battles meager, he has set upon your gifts with vigor befitting that of the faithful.
Because of that Talos I ask you for guidance to guide him towards the call of all true warriors.

As for combat on this day, there is only one of any true worthy mention. An imp of daedric origin, using its magics most tactically did, at least for a moment, beset us with annoyance.
I mention this creature for the hammering blows of my fellows were hardly enough to break it and for its resilience I offer my respect. However, with your heartbeat in step with mine, I did call down the might of the first emperor and drove the beast through.

That is unfortunately all I truly have to offer the story of our adventure thus far. I beg you Talos, send more dangers to me your servant Broan gro-Atumhash! I ask you this so that my own might my grow enough that your light of pride might shine upon me one day.

-In Talos name!
